For instance, a British manager tends to be laid back, diplomatic and the hierarchy is chosen with a view of achievement and the right person for the job. Whereas a traditional Indian manager has authority centered around the most senior male, while the hierarchy follows a more nepotistic route. In this infographic, we take a look at different leadership styles from around the world. With the permission of linguist Richard D. Lewis, we explore the differences in leadership styles using diagrams taken from his book ‘When Cultures Collide’.
